EMERGENCY SERVICES APPRECIATION DAY

Today was Emergency Services Appreciation Day, sponsored by Victim Services of Waterloo Region.

I entered the Indy 911. In the first race, I raced against the local CTV anchorman, and a lady from 98.5FM. I finished second, and qualified for the Final race.
















There were six racers in the Final Race. It was a tight race most of the way between 3 cars, a Radio Man, a Police Officer, & a Salvation Army Major (ME!).

I was in second place for most of the race, but I had to let the Police Officer finish in second place!

It was a great Community Event. We are all looking forward to next year so that one of us can beat the Radio Man (Dave Sturgeon) who was boasting! He has already been challenged by the Major from The Salvation Army.
