GAME 5 - STANLEY CUP FINALS

The Edmonton Oilers still have a pulse in the Stanley Cup final.

Fernando Pisani's second goal of the game in overtime helped the Oilersstave off elimination in the NHL's championship series with a 4-3victory over the Carolina Hurricanes.

Ales Hemsky and Mike Peca also had goals for Edmonton.

Eric Staal, with two goals, and Ray Whitney replied for the Hurricanes.

Game 6 will be played at Rexall Centre in Edmonton on Saturday night.
