The Carolina Hurricanes are one win away from their first Stanley Cup in franchise history. Mark Recchi's second-period goal stood up as the winner in Game 4 as the Carolina Hurricanes edged the Oilers 2-1 for a 3-1 championship series lead.
Cory Stillman also had a goal for Carolina and extended his scoring streak to 12 games.
Sergei Samsonov replied for the Oilers, who trail 3-1 in the series and must win the remaining three games.
Game 5 is in Carolina on Wednesday.
