THE STANLEY FINALS SET TO BEGIN!!!

Rod Brind'Amour's power-play goal lifted the Carolina Hurricanes to a 4-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres in the seventh and deciding game of the NHL's Eastern Conference final.

The Hurricanes are off to their second Stanley Cup final in four years. Game 1 against the Edmonton Oilers goes Monday night at the loud and noisy RBC Center (CBC, 8 p.m. ET) - it will be the first time in NHL history that two former WHA clubs meet for the Stanley Cup.

Hurricanes Go Get The Oilers!!!
