CANADA 3 CZECH REPUBLIC 2

The Canadians won in a nail-biter against the Czechs today. Thanks to the alert goaltending of Martin Brodeur they came out on top in this game. The shots on goal were 33- 16 in favor of the Czechs, Canada only recording 8 shots in the final 2 periods. The Canadians need to up their game quite a bit if they plan on going very far in the medal round.

Canada plays Russia in the Quarterfinals tomorrow. Most hockey fans and pundits will argue that Canada vs. Russia is not the heated hockey battle it once was.

However, we still love to reminisce about great games from the past, especially when the two hockey powers square off once more.

Canada, bring your "A" game and you should be ok.
