GAME 9 - ARGOS 31 ALOUETTES 6

He already owns most of the CFL's passing records and is the only quarterback in league history to rush for more than 10,000 career yards.

On Saturday night, Damon Allen achieved yet another amazing milestone in his illustrious career.

Allen became just the second player to amass 70,000 career passing yards and also threw a crucial touchdown pass to lead the Toronto Argonauts to a stunning 31-6 home win over the Montreal Alouettes before a season-high Rogers Centre gathering of 30,786.

Allen, 43, completed 10-of-19 passes for 200 yards to boost his career total to 70,112 yards, leaving him just 442 short of breaking CFL star Warren Moon's mark of 70,553 yards and becoming the most prolific passer in pro football history.

In typical fashion, Allen downplayed the significance of his accomplishment, saying he was happier to see the Argos get a much-needed win than joining Moon in the exclusive 70,000-yard passing club
