My Daily ATTITUDE Action Plan Is.......

Always making today my best day - Psalm 118: 24 - “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

Taking pride in a job well done - Philippians 1: 27 - “Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel.”

Treating others with respect - Ephesians 4: 32 - “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Isolating any negative thoughts - Philippians 4: 13 - “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”

Treating tasks as opportunities - Ephesians 5: 15, 16 - “Be very careful, then, how you live - not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”

Utilizing my talents everyday - Matthew 25: 29 - “For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.”

Doing the job right the first time - II Peter 2: 20 - “If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.”

Expecting positive outcomes daily - Mark 11: 24 - “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

Speaking well of others everyday - Ephesians 4: 29 - “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”

PEOPLE ARE WATCHING

Several years ago, a new preacher moved to Houston, Texas. Some weeks after he arrived, he had occasion to ride the bus from his home to the downtown area.

When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him a quarter too much change.

As he considered what to do, he thought to himself, "You'd better give the quarter back. It would be wrong to keep it."

Then he thought, "Oh, forget it, it's only a quarter. Who would worry about this little amount?
Anyway, the bus company gets too much fare; they will never miss it. Accept it as a 'gift from God' and keep quiet."

When his stop came, he paused momentarily at the door, then he handed the quarter to the driver and said, "Here, you gave me too much change."

The driver with a smile replied, "Aren't you the new preacher in town? I have been thinking lately about going to worship somewhere. I just wanted to see what you would do if I gave you too much change. I'll see you at church on Sunday"

When the preacher stepped off of the bus, he grabbed the nearest light pole, and said, "Oh God, I almost sold your Son for a quarter."

Our lives are the only Bible some people will ever read. This is an example of how much people watch us as Christians and will put us to the test.

Always be on guard and remember that we carry the name of Christ on our shoulders when we call ourselves a "Christian."
